Welcome to the Atlantic Canada Open Source Showcase blog. Here we will highlight how open source and free software and hardware solutions are being used in the Atlantic Canadian provinces.

Some examples of topics the blog will cover are:

  • How open source solutions are implemented by businesses and government.
  • Open source software development being done in the region.
  • Commercial products being sold in the region, such as local computer shops selling custom computers with Linux pre-installed.
  • People of interest in the region who are involved in the open source software community.
